UCC28C58-Q1: Power Supply Recommendation

Tool/software:

Hello,

I have a customer working on a power supply for a new project and we were hoping to get your team's guidance on implementation recommendations based on our requirements. Please see below!

We are currently working on a new project, evaluating different topologies for the same, and one of them requires high frequency buck converter.

Input would be 3 phase 460V line-line, rectified with a 3 phase diode bridge rectifier, 650Vdc will fed to Buck converter that outputs 330Vdc. Power rating would be in the range of 1kW.

For this we need a general purpose PWM controller for SiC device switching and looked into TI’s UCC28C58-Q1. Pls let us know if this IC suits our requirements.

Also we need the unencrypted simulation model for this IC, to simulate in LTSpice, if it’s sharable.

Any guidance you can share would be much appreciated and if needed you are welcome to share the unencrypted model with me directly over email and I will share with the customer accordingly since we already have an NDA in place with the customer.
