LMZ22005: Creating a 3A Constant Current Source

Part Number: LMZ22005

Tool/software:

Hey guys,

We are interested in creating a contant 3A current source with 5V output and another one with -5V out at 3A CC. Do you think this device will be suitable?  Its for an electroplating bath.  I noticed the tracking doesnt change the reference voltage but I dont necessarily want a crap ton of power drop across a sense resistor.  I liked this device because it would limit our BOM with only one buck converter IC.  If you dont think this is the best device for this application, is there one that you would recommend?

Thanks!

Scott
