Using the TPS26621DRCx to protect an LED Illumination circuit for factory automation devices (multiple types, some with and some without microcontrollers).
If there is not a microcontroller in the circuit, the device is to be enabled all the time with auto-retry function. Can !shutdown pin be left floating? Is the pullup Rpu in figure 9.15 of the datasheet sufficient for this purpose?
