BQ25892: Power up from battery

Hi Team,

If device is power up from battery only, will REGN LDO be always off? Can ADC work normally in this situation?

Customer feedback that when they power up device with battery only, and VBAT<VSYS(MIN)=3.3V, ADC conversion results are always default value (2.3V). Do you have the reason?

    Hi Ruixin,

    REGN is enabled in battery-only mode and powers the battery monitor (ADC). However, the ADC only works in battery-only mode when VBAT > VSYS_MIN.

    Please see section 9.2.8 of the datasheet.
