Hello, everyone.
My project uses LM25019SD/NOPB. The schematic diagram is as follows. In the case that there is no load power consumption at the back end after power-on (FB1, FB3, and FB5 are removed), the chip input voltage is 24V and the working current is 19mA. If the current is too large, is there any way to adjust the chip power consumption and reduce the circuit?

Hi Ivy,

The device does not have diode emulation and works in CCM throughout. So there will always be a non-trivial amount of current taken from input.

Reducing the switching frequency and increasing inductor value should give some improvement, but I expect the current to still be in the same range.

Can you recommend a chip with very low power consumption that can replace the LM25017? It is better to have a pin-to-pin package.

Hi Niranjan,

The LM25017 used in my project is set at 330K Hz, but the actual output waveform of SW pin is as follows, the frequency is wrong and the waveform is intermittent, please help to analyze the reason, thank you!
