Tool/software:
Hello,
I'm looking to use the TPS25762-Q1 with as minimal configuration as possible to provide up to 60W output power to a USB sink. I'd like to use the TPS25762CAQRQLRQ1. Section 8.3.2 in the datasheet describes the boot modes, of which the "CA" suffix has only 2: TVSP index 0 (eeprom) and 8 (firmware update). The datasheet states that if an EEPROM is not found, or the code is invalid, the device will load a default configuration, and the maximum output power is determined by the TVSP index (which would typically be 0 in my case). The datasheet then states "Valid TVSP indexes for this mode of operation are shown in R TVSP Port Maximum PDP Selection (TPS25762DQRQLRQ1 and TPS25772DQRQLRQ1)." The table in the datasheet states the values are only valid for the DQRQLRQ1 suffix devices, not the CAQRQLRQ1 devices. Are they they same? If so, why is the suffix specifically called out in the datasheet? Furthermore, the default application configuration in Table 8-7 is also only for the DQR... devices. Can someone please point me to the applicable data for the TPS25762CAQRQLRQ1 variant?
Thank you!
