Hi,

We are looking for a DC-DC converter (Buck-Boost IC) for a project which uses AAA battery cell as the power source, and planning to go with TPS61023.

Started working on a design of Vout - 3.3V with the Input voltage range between 1.8 V to 5.5 V, will the TPS61023 support this.

Hi Jagan,

When Vin > Vout, the TPS61023 enters the pass through mode. That means, when the Vin > 3.3V, the Vout = Vin > 3.3V. Will it be OK for your application? If yes, TPS61023 is a good choice.

If the Vout should be regulated at 3.3V even when the Vin > 3.3V, then a buck-boost will be needed.
