UCC28910: Request for Schematic Review – 25.2V, 20A Charger Design (Based on UCC28910 and PMP41106)

Part Number: UCC28910
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP41106,

Tool/software:

I'm developing a 25.2V, 20A charger using the PMP41106 reference design. The design includes a PFC, LLC, and flyback stage. I have developed a schematic and PCB, and I would like you to review them to check if the design is correct or if any changes are needed. I'd also like a review of the PCB routing and the flyback transformer.

Thank you!

  • Hello,

It is are policy not to review layouts on the e2e.  However, I can review the schematic of the flyback converter for you.  If you attached the schematic in the e2e I will review it for you.

Section 12 of the UCC28910 gives an example layout that was tested; as well as, recommendations given on how to do a layout.  If you use this guidance and copy the example layout your layout should be in good shape.

The following link will bring you to a reference design using the UCC28910.  It has another layout which you can reference for guidance on laying out your boards.

In regards to supporting the PFC and LLC design you will need to repost on the e2e with the specific part number in the title so the appropriate applications engineer can support you.  Please note there is two different applications engineers supporting each device.  So please post specific questions to each to get quicker responses to your inquiry.
