UCC21710-Q1: UCC21710 Gate Driver RDY Parallel Connection

Part Number: UCC21710-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC21710

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am using two UCC21710 ICs to drive two different SiC MOSFETs. The datasheet indicates that the RDY pins on both the UCC21710 chips can be paralleled due to the open drain configuration.

As a result, I want to hard parallel pin 12 on both UCC21710 ICs in my implementation with a single, external pull-up resistor placed on the unified, parallel signal. Please see a very rough sketch of this below:

Is there any other design consideration I must keep in mind to ensure proper operation of both gate driver ICs when doing so?

Any insights you could share would be greatly appreciated.
