TPS7H5001-SP: Power stage designer using TPS7H5001

For a buck converter design.

On the power stage designer, under loop calculator, can you help with the values for As, Rs, and Vslope for the TPS7H5001? Rs is a 4 ohm on a 5);1 current transformer. Switching freq is 100khz. Using 1800 for gm.

Hey Knute,

For Rs/As they get multiplied together for the equations used.
I generally set Rs equal to the resistance value and use As for scaling
With a 50:1 transformer and the TPS7H5001-SP controller's static 0.5 scaling it would be 0.25*0.5 = 0.125

For Vslope I change it to SLM by right clicking the variable.
I then set SLM to 1.

Thanks Daniel, where does the 0.25 come from (0.25*0.5)? Just to clarify, put in 4 ohms for Rs and 0.125 for As?

Apologies I did some incorrect mental math.
1/50 = 0.02 not 0.025

ok, so in the RS box, 4000 because it's mohms, and in the AS box (.02*.5) = 0.01 ?
