Tool/software:
in one of our design, we are using 2 numbers of TFM160808ALC-R47MTAA inductors for 2 Switching Regulators of TI’s- PMIC whose MPN is: TPS6522053RHBR.
Now here the question is, since we are using this inductor for 2 Switching Regulators of PMIC, and the pins are very nearby in the PMIC chip. Hence, we would like to know the impact of the magnetic coupling between the 2 inductors. Since we are placing the 2 inductors with the air gap of 0.28mm as shown in the below snapshot for your reference. With minimal impact of Magnetic coupling how close we can place those 2 inductors?
As mentioned above we are placing the 2 inductors with the air gap of 0.28mm as shown in the snapshot.
