Hi Team,

We tested the short-circuit protection function of the LMR43610 and would like to confirm whether it is working correctly.

The waveform is shown below.

The test was performed using the e-load in CR mode with a 0.05Ω setting.

1. Could you please help check if the short-circuit protection function is operating as expected?

2. And we would like to confirm whether the voltage will drop to 0V and not bounce back.

Hi,

The waveform looks similar to Figure 9-9. Load Transient in data sheet. I think the performance is as expected.

I couldn't get the 2nd question. It will be good if you can provide some more clarification to it.

About 2nd question, what I mean is that the VOUT drops to 0V and doesn't retry at short circuit.

I tried another way to test the short circuit by pressing 'Short' on the e-load.

The waveform is shown below.

Could you please help check if the behavior is correct?"
