Hi Team,

Customer need a 0.025% voltage reference, I find REF50E, and would like to know what's the accuracy refer to? And whether it can be calibrated? Is it a offset or nonlinearity? Thanks in advance.

    ±0.025% refers to the initial accuracy. Initial accuracy of a system dictates how close a reference voltage is to the nominal voltage at 25°C. Initial accuracy can be understood as an offset and can be calibrated. This is common in very high resolution systems. Initial accuracy is typically calibrated out by measuring the output voltage of the voltage reference at 25°C to know the deviation. By knowing this value, the effect becomes negligible or non-existent as the value can be taken into account in the digital calculations.

    REF50E is a great choice because of its high accuracy of ±0.025% and also because of its low temperature drift (2.5 ppm/°C), low noise (0.5 ppm p-p), and high maximum input voltage (42V). So far, we have released REF5025EIDR and REF5050EIDR, but we have plans to release the 3V, 4.096V, and 4.5V options very soon. Please let me know if there are any other questions.
