Hi Brian,
Please share more information to proceed the sch review.
1. What is the application and project information include platform?
2. What is the input voltage range, output voltage range and max output current?
3. What is part number of the inductor and output capacitors?
4. What is the part number of the Buck side MOSFETs?
BRs,
Bryce
Hi Bryce
Thanks for your reply !
below is feedback from customer side.
1. What is the application and project information include platform?
>>USB hub/docking only have a USB4 controller on the PCB not operating system
2. What is the input voltage range, output voltage range and max output current?
>> VIN = 5~20V, Vout = 5V , Imax = 6.16A
3. What is part number of the inductor and output capacitors?
>>Inductor

>>output capacitor

4. What is the part number of the Buck side MOSFETs?

Hi Brian,
Please find my comments below.
1. Recommend to change PR1107 to 0ohm.
2. Recommend to add one 0.1uF/0402 close to Vin pin.
3. Check the effective capacitance of VCC cap PC1102 is larger than 2.0uF at 5.2Vdc bias voltage.
4. EN pin should not connect to VCC pin, when EN is low, VCC is also low, the device can't startup. Recommend to use external MCU to pull EN or add Vin resistor divider to supply EN.
5. Recommend to solder the EN pull-down resistor PR1106.
6. Recommend to select 36k resistor to set about 9A average inductor current limit to leave some margin.
7. Recommend to change PR1119=5.1k, PC1122=22nF, PC1120=100pF.
8. Recommend to leave PC1135 and PR1142 floating first, and adjust the value according to the test results.
9. Recommend to select 2ohm for PR1108 and PR1137 first.
10. For the boot capacitors, recommend to select 0.1uF/50V/0402 for smaller package.
11. Please follow the layout guideline and send to us for review when finished.
