BQ78350-R1A: ChemID update in the field - Chem DF Checksum update

Hello,

we use BQ78350-R1A in many of our BMS.

Since it is not documented on how to update the ChemID without BQstudio, we did a Diff Check of two SREG-Files with different ChemIDs programmed.

It seems that the DataFlash holds following data:

1. 0x4340-0x4341: 16bit ChemID
2. 0x4342-0x4421 ChemID data
3. 0x4063-0x4064: Chem DF checksum

My questions are:

1. Can we do an update in the field, by updating the right DF areas?
2. Is the ChemID DF checksum calculated and stored by the BQ78350 FW or do I need to update this as well?
3. Are the mentioned DF sections all that ius needed to switch to antoher ChemID in the field?
