Hello,

We are working on LLC half/full bridge resonant converter for one of application,

Where,

Output Voltage is 21KV/ 200W

Input Voltage is 230VAC.

We are considering UCC25600 or UCC25640.

Can you help us is we are selecting right controller and share if any supporting reference design

    I searched the reference design library and TI has not done any reference designs for a 230 V AC to 21 kV output.  We do have a lot of experience in off line power but typically the output voltages we deal with are less than 1000 V DC.  So, I don’t believe we have specific power supply controllers made for this application.

     

    You might be able to achieve this with a UCC25600 at 200 W in an LLC using Fets on the primary and high voltage high speed rectifiers on the secondary.  LLC converters are generally limited to a 2 to 1 input variation.   So, to avoid these issues you might want use a PFC front end.  A UCC28180 could work here and I would set the output voltage to 390 V.
