LM3526: Regarding the inrush current limit

Hi team,

For this IC, I understand that the inrush current is limited to below 1.5A when the power is turned on.

Are there any ICs (or methods) that can limit the inrush current to below 1A?

Hi Kyohei,

For fixed USB power switches, there is TPS2042B/52B. Typical in-rush current is 1A.

The only method of controlling the in-rush current limit is to manipulate the resistor value on an adjustable USB power switches.

That is correct. Please see Figure 6-22 for a visualization of what that would look like within a system, using different load capacitances.
