I am considering TPS61166 for a new design running off a single LiIon cell or a 5V supply. The datasheet is a bit confusing about the input voltage range. It appears that Vbat needs to be above 4.5V. At the same time it shows an application where VIN and VBAT are tied together and running off a 2.5V to 6V input. Same is in the EVM manual. So can the two pins be tied together and run off a 3V supply?
