BQ25730: Usys vs USB OTG

Part Number: BQ25730

Tool/software:

I am creating a circuit that includes the BQ25730 to charge a single high capacity LiPo cell.
I have three questions that I had trouble getting from the datasheet:
1. Can I omit the USB OTG functionality completely, as I need this path only to deliver power to the battery, and want to take all the system supply from Usys - my use case is to only have a single role USBC PD (sink) to supply the charger ?
2. Do I understand it correctly, that I have to create the whole battery charging temperature limiting circuitry by myself? Is there a good ic for a high current, hi capacity (10000mAh) single cell that is recommended?
If yes, how should I interface to the BQ25730?
3. Does a configuration excel sheet for this device family exist?

Thank you in advance.
