Hi,
Is there anything special that needs to be done with the SYNC pin if I want to enable the API/Body Break function on the TPS543C20A?

Hello,
A response will be posted next week.
Thanks,
Calan
My apologies for the delay in responding, I was out of the office last week.
There are no special requirements for the SYNC pin when API and BB are configured via the MODE pin. SYNC will be configured as SYNC_IN, and the frequency control oscillator will operate based on the internal oscillator, as programmed by the RT pin resistor, or an external SYNC signal applied to the SYNC pin.
If SYNC will not be used, SYNC can be left floating, or it can be pulled to BP or GND if there is a concern about noise coupling into the SYNC pin and triggering SYNC detection.
For pull-up, I would recommend a 1kΩ resistor, but pull-down can be hard-shorted to GND or the exposed pad if desired.
