When using another host other than BQStudio and the EV2400/EV2500 to program or access any of the data flash parameters, it is imperative that you have the most up-to-date addressing for the particular device and firmware that you are using. 

The best way to access the most up-to-date address mapping of the data flash is by using BQStudio. To get BQStudio to display the addresses for the parameters in data flash you must configure BQStudio to show the advanced view. To change the BQStudio view from basic to advanced you must follow the steps below: 

  • Connect a gauge and Open BQStudio
  • Navigate to Window -> Preferences -> All Global Settings
  • Then change the Battery Management Studio (bqStudio) View Type from "Show Basic Views" to "Show Advanced Views"
  • Click "Apply" then "OK"

Once the steps above have been completed, you can then navigate to the "Data Memory" tab and observe the Physical Start Address for each of the parameters in the data memory.
