Hi,

We are using TPS7A47 for generating  +5V.Input voltage is +5V. 

Output current requirement is 1 A .

Kindly review the attached schematic and provide the feedbacks.

    Hi Ashish,

    For a 5V output using the TPS7A47, you will need an input supply of 5.45V or more - I'd recommend 5.5V to ensure sufficient headroom to accommodate the 450mV maximum dropout voltage. 

    As drawn, with 5V input, the output voltage will be 4.55-4.7V. This will vary with load current and will exhibit poor PSRR and transient performance.
