I am planning to change the IC from UCC2804D to UCC28C59. I want to set the switching frequency to 50 kHz and will adjust the RT/CT resistor and capacitance values based on the reference diagram. Please review and confirm the changes.
To confirm whether a 50 kΩ resistor and 470 pF capacitor will generate a 50 kHz fixed switching frequency for the UCC28C59, I checked the available technical documentation
For UCC2804D, the switching frequency calculation formula is:
fosc=1.5RT×CTf_{osc} = \frac{1.5}{RT \times CT}
Using RT = 49.9 kΩ and CT = 300 pF, the resulting frequency is:
fosc=1.549,900×300×10−12≈100kHz
