TPS7A20: TPS7A20: Looking for fixed output LDO with Low Noise for single layer PCB

Hii Team,

I'm looking for an LDO to step down the voltage from 5 V to 3.3 V, I'm looking for a very smaller IC package. Fixed output voltage LDOs would work for me without any FB option. I'm going to use the LDO in an LED Board so, the IC should have good thermal characteristics.

Load current is 10 mA, We are using 1 layer PCB for this project please suggest the suitable part with suitable Package.

    Hi Karthik,

    TPS7A20 should be able to work here, even in the 1x1 plastic package option (TPS7A2033PDQNR) it is possible to do a single layer layout. An example of a single layer layout for this 1x1 package was done in our universal EVM where the GND pin and the thermal pad are connected together in order to make a single layer possible, figure 7 below for reference:
