Hi expert,

My customer hope UCC25661-Q1can support the negative voltage driver ability, so could you pls help me understand How UCC25661-Q1 can support that?

my thought is that try to add the iso driver UCC21520-Q1 (can support the 20V vin) for that , could you pls check whether we can tie the HS and GND together to provide the input signal for ucc21520 in pin?

Hi,

Could you let me know why do you want to have negative voltage driver ability? In LLC, the turn off instant is almost zvs. So, you need to use negative voltage to turn it off.

Also, you can not use HS to gnd. HS pin needs to be connected to switch node in order to determine the adaptive dead time.

Hi Manikanta,

Yes, and the 0 V turn off SiC have higher cost than the SiC which need negative voltage.

Could you pls help find a way to achieve that? or whether can combine the UCC25660-Q1 and UCC34141 together? can allow add external device to achieve that.

The Output Power: ~300W

The input voltage: 380~960V

The output voltage: 13.3V

Hi Hangjie,

The HS pin voltage has max abs rating of 600V. so, you cannot use this controller for input voltage of 960V.
