Here the feedback from the package team:

If the customer plans just to add a TIM, nothing else, would they be able to provide the details of the material? A thin layer of material (< 40um), that is dispensed and doesn't apply pressure to the die, and that doesn't reach the sides of the die, should not be a concern.
