Hi
May I check if LM5143A-Q1 can do 15V 70A out put if using multi phase ?
Vi = 30 ~ 50V

Hello PY

Yes, PY this is possible. However, LM5137F-q1 is better suited for this input range. Additionally, it has better efficiency in dual phase setup.
Thank you

Hi Bhakare:
Thank you for your reply. We are considering using a single LM5143A-Q1 2-phase synchronous buck controller to generate a 15V output at 70A.
Can this requirement be met through proper selection of MOSFETs and implementing proper thermal management?
Or is there a practical upper limit to the power output capability of the LM5143A-Q1?
Hello LIN
70A would be difficult to manage with dual phase design.
I would recommend using 4 phase design here, it would be more efficient for given load current and thermal management would be easier.

Hi Bhakare:
Thank you for your reply. What was the ambient temperature during the test in the report you provided? We would like to understand the temperature rise observed during the test.
Thank you
