BQSTUDIO: How to use BQSTUDIO to create a GPC log

Tool/software:

I am using BQ27z561EVM to try to get the GPC log to get the chemID for my board.  Is there any instruction how to use the EVM with bqStudio and step by step to create the log file?

    Please refer to the EVM user's guide how to set up the EVM with bqStudio.

    The process for generating the data for a ChemID is here: https://www.ti.com/tool/GAUGEPARCAL, https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/SLVA725

    You can use the bq27z561 EVM to measure current, voltage and temperature (using the Register log function from bqStudio). The actual sequence must be implemented by the customer (it's not an automatic feature in bqStudio). You need a charger and an electronic load to discharge the battery, following the sequence in the GAUGEPARCAL application note.

    Dominik,

    Thank you so much for your advice.  I am getting further by knowing what to log and using bqStudio to log them, but the log collected all the registers.  I couldn't find a way to turn off the others and just leave, time, voltage, current, and temp.  Can you please help to point me to how-to turn off other registers?

    There is no way to limit what registers to log. I use a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel) to remove or re-arrange columns if I need to get this data into a specific format.
