Whether this UCC28050 part can be used for a single stage 105W flyback converter CV power supply for the below specification?

Input voltage: 90-264VAC

Output: 24V/4.2A

Efficiency: >90%

PF: >0.9

THD: <20%

Can you please confirm?

Hi Rakesh,

PMP11155 is an example showing how this can be used as a single stage buck PFC.

This might be a good starting point for what you are trying to do.

What are the critical parameters to be taken care while scaling up PMP11155 to 100w power?

Hi Rakesh,

This is a controller so the limitation will be a function of the stress on the external components. You will need to make sure the core of the transformer doesn't saturate and that the FET can handle the stresses.
