TPS61169: TPS61169 Dimming Compatibility with Filtered PWM Signal – Request for Confirmation and Schematic Review

Part Number: TPS61169

Tool/software:

Hi,

Previously, I was using the FAN5333B LED driver, where we implemented dimming using a filtered PWM signal, with an LED current of 10 mA.

Now, I’m planning to switch to the TPS61169. According to its datasheet, dimming is controlled via the CTRL pin, but I couldn't find specific mention of filtered PWM dimming support. However, in application note SLVA471, it’s mentioned that filtered PWM dimming is supported across the TPS6116x series.

Can you please confirm whether the TPS61169 supports dimming through a filtered PWM signal?

I’ve also attached the schematics for both the existing (FAN5333B-based) and proposed (TPS61169-based) circuits. I would appreciate it if you could review them and provide any feedback or suggestions.
