Hi team,

The datasheet of LMG3526R050 shows that only Pin 48 has the difference between OC and ZVD signals.
If Pin 48 is not used temporarily, can it be used with LMG3522R050?

    Hello Jimmy,

    LMG3522R050 and LMG3526R050 are both 650-V 50mOhm GaN FET with integrated driver with LMG3526 having Zero Voltage reporting feature which LMG3522 does not have.

    As mentioned by you only Pin 48 has the difference with LMG3522 having OC and LMG3526 having ZCD pin.

    Yes you can use LMG3526 with LMG3522

    LMG3522 has an OC pin at Pin 48 which only reports for Over current protection and other protection features like VDD UVLO, Overtemperature, High-Impedance RDRV pin and short-circuit  faults are reported on the FAULT Pin.

    LMG3526 does not have OC pin and hence all the Faults including the Over current protection is reported by the FAULT pin.

    Apart from this LMG3526 has the Zero-Voltage Detection feature which LMG3522 does not have.

    Before using the device as an alternative for the other please make sure the Pin 48 is properly connected.
