TPS2121: tps2121 auto switch device input pin setting?

In the example circuit in the DATASHEET, PR1, OV1,OV2, and CP2 are input through the voltage divider circuit.

Table 9-3 shows that (PR1, OV1,OV2, CP2)= ALL GND(0V) will result in AUTO MODE.

Is it possible to connect to GND without a voltage divider or pull-down resistor like the circuit below?
