Hi Team,

Based on this E2E thread, I know the [CBM]=1 is to solve some problems when the cell balance HW design is used the external circuit.

However, if my customer is using the internal circuit for the cell balance and they set [CBM]=1, is there any impact for this design/setting?

Hello HY,

If you are using a external cell balancing than set CBM to 1 and if you are using a internal cell balancing than set it to 0.

My customer has already set CBM=1 with the internal cell balancing. So, please help check/comment if there is any impact?

Hello HY,

If you are using internal cell balancing than it is recommend making the switch to CBM=0.

Actually, the customer(and I) know our suggestion is to set CBM=0 for the internal cell balancing, but the customer would like to know how impact/risk if they set CBM=1 for the external cell balancing, Could you check with the team/expert for that again?
