[FAQ] BQ25611D: Why do I have to read the fault status twice to see the cleared fault on BQ2561x?

Tool/software:

When a fault occurs on BQ2561x an /INT pulse is sent to the host. For the BQ25611D, BQ25618/E, and BQ25619/E the fault status in REG0x09[7:0]/REG0x0A[6:4] are kept static until the host reads the registers. Before reading the status, no new /INT pulses are sent. To see the new current status, REG0x09[7:0]/REG0x0A[6:4] have to be read twice, the first being the old status and the second being the new status.
