TPS1H000-Q1: PSpice model results and actual IC operation results are different.

Tool/software:

Using the PSpice model provided by TI,

I applied a PMW signal to the input and verified that the output turned on and off according to the duty cycle. However, the simulation results showed no change in the ON waveform depending on the duty cycle.

Red : Vbat / Green : PWM Pulse / Blue : Output Wave

The results below are the waveforms that appear during actual operation.

This appears to be an issue with how the model behaves. Please default to the actual silicon behavior (using an EVM for any evaluation).

I will file a ticket so that can be addressed in the next version of the model.

Correct,

There is an issue in the PSPICE model so we would recommend using the EVM while the model is being addressed.
