Tool/software:

We are using BQ40Z50-r1 IC in our 4S1P battery pack design.

We have set the charge voltage 16.4V(4.1V/cell) and charging under 1A .

While charging the battery charges, But when the battery gets charged up to 16000mV(4V/cell).

We didn't set any restriction for charging ,we have set the charge voltage as 16.4V,but is not charging to full voltage.

Hello Max,

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for sharing your log and gg file. After looking at them, it seems the gauge is deciding to shutdown the CHG FET due to the gauge reaching charge termination conditions being met. I the MCHG condition being meet at around 4V per cell. Your gg file has Maintenance Charging set to 0 mA. Can you try again with this value being set to its default value of 88mA?
