LM25148: LM25148RGYR- Schematic & Layout review support

Part Number: LM25148

Tool/software:

Hi TI Team,

We are using LM25148RGYR buck synchronous regulator as main power source for our deisgn
Vin=12V ,80W
Vout=5V,15A

I used TI webench design tool to deisgn my circuit. I need support on layout and schematic verification before release it to FAB.

I have attached my schematic & Board file.

  • Hello,

    Please upload the files directly.

    We cannot use these sharing links.

  • Hi Ridge,

    I have attached image file for schematic.

    We are using 10layer-stackup.

    I couldn't able to upload layout file directly. However , I included layer image .

    layout:

    TOP Layer:

    Bottom layer:

    Layer 3 :

    Layer 8:

    We have taken feedback on layer 8

  • Hi Ajay,

    Are you able to package the images in a zip file? The compressed resolution of the schematic image posted is very difficult to read.

    Overall the layout looks OK. However, I recommend routing the SW to the controller IC on an inner layer similar to the EVM. The SW trace is very noisy, so you want to bury it away from the other key signals in order to prevent noise from the switch coupling into other key signal paths. It looks like the SW is routed quite close to the AGND polygon.

    Best regards,

    Ridge
