Hi, thank you for your reply.

I have one more question: If my I²C communication is working fine and I send a command to read the SoC, would that be sufficient, or do we need to perform some initial setup and calibration first? In that case, can we at least expect to read a placeholder or junk value?

Also, is there a way to set up a 30-minute meeting, as we have several queries? Alternatively, could you connect us with someone we can directly meet to discuss these points?

Hi,

Please reach out to your local FAE to get a meeting scheduled.

In order to get a proper soc reading you will need...

1 a chenid match

2 calibrated gauge

3 parameters configured

4 complete a learning cycle

Hi,

1) Please contact your closest ti office for helping getting an FAE assigned.

2) if you do not calibrate the gauge, then there is no guarantee that voltage, temperature, and current are being reported correctly. If these values are incorrect it will introduce error into the SOC calculation.
