Hi expert,

My customer (Enpower) is looking for three-phase motor driver solution and the request as below. Does the LM5109B is the best solution? Thanks.

  • Motor drive voltage: 14V
  • Three-phase current: Typ-30A, Max-70A
  • Gate driver current: Max-1A
  • PWM frequency: 10kHz

    Hi Ryker,

    The LM5109B is a good solution for this customer, as it is a 108V, 1A/1A driver.

    We offer a wide selection of drivers which fit the needs of this particular system. There are additional device options in the LM510x family which have other features.

    There are a few options with an internal boot diode, like the LM5107, which is a 1.4A, 100V driver. Likewise, the LM5102 driver is a 2A, 100V driver with programmable delay. The LM5104 has adaptive shoot through protection. The LM5105 is a 1.8A/1.6A 100V driver with programmable dead-time and an enable pin.

    The LM5106 is a 1.8A/1.2A 100V driver which also has programmable dead-time, but it lacks an internal boot diode.
