Hi Team,

Customer is using bq40z50 in their system, and they want to know how to set below current parameters, can you help to some guidance?

1. Dsg Current Threshold

2. Chg Current Threshold

3. Quit Current

Customer's system idle current is about 3mA~6mA in standby mode.

Hello Jacky,

We will need more information from the system to help with this, but the customer should have some knowledge of their system to set this parameters themselves:

1. Dsg Current Threshold: What are the loads the customer is going to be facing? They should be able to set this based on their loads

2. Chg Current Threshold: What type of charger they have on their system? The charger should be indicator of the charging current

3. Quit Current: What is the smaller load the system will have? What is the smaller charging current the system will have (typically taper current)?
