1) We would like to know how the IMON resistor value is calculated, need clarification on this.

2) Also, I will share our schematic for your review. Could you please provide your review feedback on this?

requirement:

UVLO: 10V
OVLO: 30V

ILIM:2.6A (upto 2.5A it should allow).

3) Also, about the gate voltage resistor divider.

4) Can the pgood pin and fault can be tied together ?

The external PFET is for reverse plority?

You can use TPS2663 in that instance. It drives external NFET for RPP and RCB.

Yes PFET is for reverse polarity.

Ok, i checked the calculator. It difficult to find the formulas and calculation done in that excel.

It would be great if you Could you clarify for these two below questions?

1) For IMON resistor, our requirement is output current max is 2.5A? How to calculate it resistor value? please provide more clarity.

2) ILIM resistor value, 18A (as per datasheet) divide by 2.5 A = 7.2K could you confirm this?

These equations are available in datasheet with more clarity and explanation. Please refer to datasheet for more details.

1. for 2.5A , you can put 51.10Kohms RILIM which will give max value of 3.65V.

2. Yes, 7.2K RILIM.
