TPS2HC08-Q1: Could we detect open-load event in on-state?

Hi team,

Could we detect open-load event in on-state? Is it indicate by FAULT pin? Or do we have to monitor SNS pin (if SNS=0) and CHx_ON resistor (if CHx_ON shows ON state) to detect on-state open load?

Hi Ochi,

The TPS2HC08 does not have an on state fault reporting however you can use the current sense to determine if there is an open load:
