TLV62585: Power-on waveform

Hi Teams,

The output voltage of the TLV62585 drops during power-on under load(with Eload CC mode >1.5A). The circuit waveform is shown below. Could you please help check if this can be improved? Thanks.

Inductor current is about 3.87A

Thanks for posting your question.

Can you use a Constant Resistance load with short cables at output side because its the real application load. I hope this would solve your problem .

Hi Zakir,

In CR mode, the waveform appears normal.

Is this related to the IC's COT mode? Could there be any issues when using actual devices (power for DIMMs)? Thanks.

Hi Che Wen Yeh,

Yes, in real world applications we never have loads that are constant current therefore it would work fine even with DIMMs.
