charging lead acid battery from a renewable source

is there such a device that will step up Current output from the amount of current input to a device. second, more specifically what factors will have an effect on the max charge of the battery charge rate. basically on a 12v AGM lead acid battery with 200AH and only about 2watts of output power from a renewable energy source how long will it take to charge this battery.

I am not sure understood what you mean by stepping up a current? Can you be more specific about the application? What is you input voltage, do you have a system load in addition to the lead acid battery. The time to charge the battery depends on the state of charge of the battery and the rate in which you are charging it.

You can use our selection tool on TI web site then select the chemistry and the topology to find the charger
