Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25170, BQ27220
Tool/software:
I am working on a battery management design using the BQ25170 and BQ27220 for charging and monitoring a lithium-polymer battery.
During the charging process, I would like to confirm whether there would be any issues if the charging current is modified by adjusting the ISAT resistor value through control of the Q1 switch,
based on battery temperature and status feedback from the BQ27220 (as shown in the attached schematic).
In addition, in the event of a charging fault, I have implemented a shutdown function using the Q2 switch to stop battery charging. Could you please advise if this approach is acceptable?
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your guidance.
