TPS26750: USB-C Power / Source only / 24V Input

Hi Dominik, 

Couple follow-up questions regarding your design: 

1. What is the desired power role of the Type-C port? Is it DRP (Dual Role Power), source only or sink only?

2. What is the power rating for the input/output (sinking/sourcing) power range and what PDOs are required?
3. What kind of PDOs are required? Do you only need fixed PDOs or other types as well such as AVS or PPS? 

4. Are there any BQ or DCDC you're looking to pair with the PD controller?

1. I need source only because I want to build a power supply.

2. 65W max.

3. Actually no also USB-C PD controller is not fixed.

Hi Dominik,

We currently do not have a PD controller that is suited for source-only applications. However, we are working to add a functionality to the TPS25751 GUI to support source-only settings in a future release.

Adrian, do you have a recommendation for a DC/DC converter to use with the TPS25751? I also have a source application that is tied to a system bus, not a battery directly.
