Hi,

Can I separate TPS4800-Q1 VS power from the load power, as shown below ?

Are there any restrictions, power sequence, VS>VBATT or VS<VBATT ?

Hi,

You can separate the load power from the VS power, but they have to be the same voltage, or it can cause issues. There should not be any issues with power sequencing but if VS is not powered first then the device will not be powered and keep in mind delay times and the time it takes for CBST to be charged.

Hi, Rishika,

Yes, startup time is an issue.
And there's nothing good to separating power, if the same voltage is required.

I'll connect VS to load power.
