Tool/software:
Designing a Power module that would hopefully comply with ISO 7637. I built a test board with just the first stage as the schematic shows but somehow 74052 just couldn't turn on to drive the NMOSs. I have even only soldered on C54, C55, Q1, U7, R149, R150, and then connected a load to 5678 of Q2 and ground. I have tried 5-24V for input voltage but Q1 was never able to reach saturation mode. At 12V VB there were at least 4V drop between first NMOS of Q1, but 74502 heats up to 80 degree Celsius within half a few seconds. only 0.8V between gate and SRC.
Any help with understanding what is going on or any suggestion of part changes would be massively appreciated!
