Tool/software:

I want design buck-boost topology by LM5118,Vin range=17V~30V,Vout=24V ,Iout=0.6A,this design End device is Fan ,please help to confirm, is this part support this design? Also, I need design tools or can you provide me with a schematic?

Hi Alica

I need to conform that the thermal Pad can connect PGND yes or not? is this pad whether any internal signal connected?

We ask you to solder the thermal pad to the GND plane below the device, see this section of the datasheet: https://www.ti.com/document-viewer/LM5118/datasheet#pin-configuration-and-functions/snvs5662719 and in the layout section: https://www.ti.com/document-viewer/LM5118/datasheet#layout/SNVS5663127
