We're doing acceptance testing of a product with LP5810, and we hit an issue with a faulty USB power supply providing 5.6V. Our board works fine otherwise, but either one LED channel or all of LED channels shut down randomly with this specific power supply providing over voltage. Board resets and works fine with other power supplies.
The data sheet device comparison mentions that LP5811/3 have over voltage protection which triggers at 5.5V min and 5.5V is listed as a maximum operation condition for LP5810. Can you confirm if the over voltage protection is present in LP5810 as well?
